Engineering

Engineering the project is the first step. Specific information about the facility is needed before programming can begin. Blueprints including locations of all mechanical equipment, specifications, as-built drawings from any existing system, and any specific instruction must be made available to the project manager. If you are upgrading an existing automation system, most necessary information can be obtained from reports and printouts for the existing control equipment. For new installations, a Computrols design Engineer, or your own project manager should provide all specifications. Once you have the project planned out, you can begin entering data into CBAS.
